Kudwa is working towards an intercultural Collective Identity by building bridges between migrants and locals, promoting active citizenship, initiative, and community, and addressing barriers to effective integration and inclusion. Its areas of impact include community capacity building, intra-intercultural dialogue, and awareness and advocacy work. Based in Barcelona, Kudwa aims to build a strong Arabic-speaking community with the Arabic-Speaking migrants and refugees in the city, connect them with the local community, change the narrative about migrants and migration, address obstacles to effective integration, and inclusion, and connect different, otherwise separate groups of people. Moreover, Kudwa aims to inform about issues that directly impact migrants and refugees and raise awareness around their perspectives and lived experiences.
